Ukraine Tour
In
1991, Ukraine declared its Independence
from the Soviet Union. 2001 commemorated
the 10th Anniversary of Independence
of Ukraine. To celebrate the historic
event, the Ukrainian government invited
Ukrainian cultural ensembles from
around the world to participate in
concerts that officially commemorated
the Independence celebration. The
Ukrainian Bandurist Chorus was the
official cultural representative of
the United States of America.
